9 February (part 2)

I looked at some of the pictures online of all the lovely snow in America and thought WOW I would love to be there :D

Image

All the people in the park enjoying themselves :D

You have to admit that it does look lovely :D

Then I saw these two pictures and changed my mind. Bit too deep for my liking

10 February

I have spent the day celebrating Chinese New Year :ymparty:

I relaxed eating Chinese food and watching my favourite Jackie Chan and Jet Lee videos, as I said I would :ymparty:

The only downside to my day was Mah-jong Image

Try as I may I just cannot beat the top score and Piling is catching me up FAST Image

I am going to have to try much harder :o)

Why is it that more people do not play the games ?

Kurds in Syria "Stateless and Hated" the Forgotten Kurds

Statelessness is inherited from one generation to the next

Stateless Kurds cannot inherit land, property, businesses or money because he is a non-person who does not exist in the eyes of the law

A stateless Kurd will work hard all his life but when he dies his property is sized by the government and given to Arabs. That is how the Syrians managed to insert Arab families along the borders to separate the Kurds from Kurds in other areas

Stateless children suffer abuse from Arab children

Stateless students do not manage to obtain the same degrees at University (very few who are lucky to be accepted)

Stateless people cannot work in the public sector

Stateless people cannot register a business in their name

Kurds stateless or otherwise normally have to lowest paid jobs

Kurds are often treated very badly by other Syrians and looked upon as some lower form of life

There is little or no intermarriage between Kurds and Syrians

Nobody know exactly how many Kurds are still stateless

The Syrian regime gave citizenship to many Kurds ONLY after they started becoming strong and demanding Independence

Rather like Turkey allowing Kurds to speak Kurds ONLY after they started becoming strong and demanding independence X(

Back again so I will be able to upset more people with all my thoughts and comments :ymdevil:

Bossy Bashar al-Assad is a member of the ALAWITE SECT

The Arabs who were given homes along the Syrian borders were wealthy members of the ALAWITE SECT

The ALAWITE SECT account for only 12 percent of the population in Syria

12 percent of the population did not obtain control over the other 88 percent of the population by being good people X(

The entire tribe are clannish, secretive not nice people X(

15 February

I remember that day 14 years ago.

I was in the community centre when the news about Ocalan's arrest came on the TV.

We all dashed up to London to protest outside the Greek Embassy, everyone singing and dancing.

They were NEVER going to give up the struggle for freedom.

He was there, my friend from the party, probably dead now :((

After that there were lots of meetings, everyone pledging to do something, wonder what they are doing now.

Young people rushed off to join the PKK and fight for FREEDOM.

Every time I hear about the BDP wanting to work with and remain in Turkey, I remember all my young friends who went to fight and die.

When I hear of Ocalan himself wanting to work with Turkey, I remember all the great Kurdish leaders who NEVER gave up the fight for a FREE KURDISTAN

The Ocalan on Imrali Island is NOT the same Ocalan who bought the pride and the hope of FREEDOM to millions of Kurds X(

The Freedom for Öcalan. Peace in Kurdistan campaign in England is run by a lovely non-Kurdish lady, who has dedicated many years to helping Kurds. She has done more for Kurds in the past 20 years than a HUNDRED THOUSAND KURDS :ymapplause:

If the Kurds in NK had listened to her and given her the support she deserves NK would have been FREE years ago :D

What Kurdish oil has done for Kurds in South Kurdistan in only 10 years, Kurdish oil could do for the Kurds in North Kurdistan, please see topic:

After 10 years the SK Kurds emerge as surprise winners

viewtopic.php?f=28&t=11848

Are Kurds in North Kurdistan going to continue to allow Turkey to steal Kurdish oil and use the wealth to buy arms and pay soldiers to murder and suppress the Kurds. It is up to the Kurds of North Kurdistan to decide:

Do you want to become an oil-rich powerful nation with your own parliament and army OR do you want to remain living under Turkish control and being treated worse than dogs ?

All those Kurds wishing to remain under Turkish control please apply to Roj Bash Kurdish for guidance in obtaining psychiatric help :ymdevil:

17 February (part 2)

Today (Sunday) my oldest and dearest friend appointed me to be his advisor. A position I have gladly excepted :D

I am not about to reveal his identity or any of his plans but I would like to tell you a little of his past :D

He is a Kurd from Turkey, though his grandparents come from what is now South Kurdistan. I point this fact out because a great many Kurds moved about the traditional Kurdish land before it was divided.

My friend came here to escape from the oppression of the Turkish regime long before anyone had even heard of Ocalan.

My friend, my Kurdish brother, could not even read or write Turkish let alone English, his wife had never even held a pen, he could speak a little Turkish but he and his wife were bought up to speak Kurdish.

He came here not understanding a word of English. He lived in terrible conditions and his first job was as a dish washer in a hotel. All washing up was done by hand in those days.

He has NEVER claimed a penny in state benefit or been in debt.

My friend taught himself English, and his English is better than mine now, much to my shame as I am an English teacher :ymdevil:

He has had many businesses and will probably have a great many more.

Being one of the first Kurds to come to England he has spent most of his time helping other Kurds from all parts of Kurdistan. He is a PROUD Kurds and a truly wonderful person. He lives for the day that Kurdistan becomes FREE :D

The first words my friend said to me, over 30 years ago, was "I am a Kurd". And he has been saying those same words ever since to anyone who will listen :ymapplause:

My best friend :x

18 February

If the families of inmates in İmralı Prison, Cumali Karsu's sister Pervin Oduncu and Şeyhmus Poyraz' brother Felek Poyraz go to Imralı Island for biweekly family visits WHY are Ocalan's lawyers forbidden to visit ?

I still firmly believe that Ocalan's lawyers have been kept apart from him because they would realise that Ocalan has either been brainwashed or drugged to such an extent that he says and does exactly what he is told to OR the Ocalan we knew and respected has been replaced by a substitute (double).

If anyone has any other logical explanations I would love to hear them :D

Ahmet Türk and Ayla Akat Ayta visited him at the end of 2012. Did they state anything about what Öcalan said, at last ?
