When we build a strong economy, good military and establish diplomatic ties with all the countries then our chances of independence will grow thousandfold. South Kurdistan is in fact already functioning as an independent state, its just the politics that is hindering the proclamation of it. Its just as Taiwan is still seen as part of China even if its 100 % independent. independence will emerge when kurds are strong enough and with the oil that dream is becomming reality in the next few years and at most in the next decade.

So are you referring to south Kurdistan, or the greater Kurdistan? Cuz the south can't afford to wait for a few years, and definitely not a decade!

South kurdistan of course, and as i said independence will only emerge as result of kurdish determination. South kurdistan could declare independence tomorow, it only has to be able to protect itself and be economically sufficent. We are lacking the heavv weapons needed to protect our new state and we might need to gamble and hope for recognition so that we will be able to buy weapons.

It's not like they would had done anything. The attack on Iraq were'nt to help us, but for their own purpose (Whatever that was)
