wishful thinking i call it , they are going to wirelessly install an autonomy from US and Australia ? if they want land they let them come and claim some. bcoz they do not form majority anywhere even in Mosul, so claiming is something but having a majority at it is something else. as far as i know there never will be such self-rule bcoz they are a bunch of baath loving cowards.

That map is ridiculous, there is no way in hell they will ever achieve that. Given the amount of oil/gas and strategic locations they include in their maps. They can have cultural autonomy in Kurdistan and administer (with high limitations) regions where they are a majority. I think we should let them fly their flags on official buildings along the Kurdish one where they are a majority to allow them to experience some sort of nationhood, this will allow them to participate in sports as a Nation and so on. We shouldn't either go all the way and say, yes have autonomy but at the same time we shouldn't completely deny it. Cultural, linguistic and a limited national rights should be provided to the minorities living with us so they don't feel abandoned and we will not face a "future problem"

The way we can tackle the issue from growing is provide those rights (most are already available, but we need to give them some basic "nation hood" rights), however we need to make sure that the regions are administrated by a pro-Kurdish Assyrian party, and there are many. We must learn from the mistakes made by our neighbors, ignoring the will of the people (whether Kurdish or Assyrian) will eventually blow up in our face.

This is why I am for the idea to give up a strip in Eastern Syria where they seem to form a majority , its not really big comes close to modern Luxembourg. So we get rid of their demands which might give us headache in future. Or if not that give them some kind of autonomy where they can participate in sports as a nation.

I also understand all the voices against that because they (Assyrians) really seem to demand and cry just on Kurds because we are friendly to them. They would never dare or open their mouth to ask Baghdad or Damascus for that. They would not even dare to fight for it. Many of them are just Internet Heros like Eliasfatucard.

Its not the job of Kurds to fight for them and to give them land.

Kurdistano wrote:So we get rid of their demands which might give us headache in future.

No, its like now, Kurds help them, even after they support the Baath Reime, but they still make their propaganda against Kurds. They blame every attack against them on Kurds. If Kurds would give them land, they will make more propaganda like, Kurds only give us our land because they have no other choice, but they still occupy the rest of Ass yria.

You argue that they could be a problem for Kurdistan, but thats wrong. They are not even on the political agenda.

You are 100 % eight heval, every assyroan i have known have backstabed. As we know some things make noise but no actions. Its the same as assurian 10 000-20 000 km away barking at things he cant do shit about. The concept of dynamic alliances/ realities and sacrifies never reached their brains. Theor whole ethnicity is based on religion maybe that is why they never got somewhere. They are to divided and cant even decide wheter to call themselves Syriac/aramiac or assyrians. Qith this facts on the ground they still blame kurds and demand land they dont form majority in

(Note: i dont mean all christian in iraq)
We should deport these traitor backstabbers back to their arab brothers who will take care of them accordingly. I mean they love Iraq so much so why not move to Bagdad? I can understand arabs killing them for their betrayal. When Saddam was in power they supported him and was heavily involved in the baathi regime. The sunni islamist doesnt just kill them for no reason, under Saddam all Iraqi became aware of their double games and islam bashing (dont care about islam-islamist do), remember baathi was founded by christian and had many memebers. After Saddam was removed the rats left the sinking ship, because everyone knew their dirty business in baath, many fled abroad and some came to kurdistan.

The chaldean in hewler doesnt count in this since they were not baathi and were allied with kurds to this day, im only talking about baathi christian in arab cities like Bagdad and Mosul. The christian who lived with kurds and never left for arab cities are no problems and will be protected by kurds. But the baathi christian from arab cities come to kurdistan and make up lies and doesnt even speak kurdish!!! i saw on KTV one of these scum talking in arabic and bashing krg for bad service, like they had a good time in bagdad getting bombed with no electricity

No autonomy for traitors but protection and all rights for christian native to kurdistan

No Assyrians definitely do not deserve land in the land which is not even theirs... They are invaders just like Turks and have called it home ... I however support Chaldeans even though they are pretty much Kurds now...

The reason being is Kurds have no friends and everyone is against us. Assyrians belong in sand, around the Persian gulf, Kuwait and Basra that is we're the Akkadians were living and they just decided to invade Kurdish land then claim it as theirs and call themselves indigenous... They never belonged in Kurdistan and infact we should deport them to Baghdad were they can seek autonomy in Iraq their COUNTRY. Screw our neighbours their all dogs wanting our meat. Maybe if they showed some respect and weren't so anti kurd they prolly deserved a district in Mosul but good luck to that.

They all fled to Baghdad and abandon their so called homeland they came back and now their barking for autonomy as if it is their land they would of never left if it was, Chaldeans stayed in Ankawa and to me are considered Kurds

Stop being so sympathetic no Arab,Assyrian,Iranian or Turk would give us autonomy why should we it will cause trouble and they will want more land. It will give them a chance to grow and unite then eventually screw us over have we not realised this......... Fuuuuuuuuuu
