That is not true. You confuse normal Muslims with extremists. Stop generalizing. Kurds are one of the most pro-Western peoples in the whole Middle East, at least in Southern Kurdistan.

Malik Shahi come from Lur area and it was one of the things I investigated when tracing my heritage considering that all my ancestors names are shia ones until the 16th father , so there was a possibility from my dad's side . But seeing the "masala " which is a lineage map(family map) of my family in Western Kurdistan made me dismiss that theory .

Thats very interesting Kak Talsor. To be honest Lur or Fayli is pretty much the same thing, really only the Faylis stayed and kept their Kurdish identity. (The Lurs of Lure-Buchek), whilst in the south the Bahktairis becamse Persianizied. I mean right up to WW1 Luristan was an independant Kurdish state believe it or not. Although as you know, the Islamic republic doesn't mention that history.

Thats the problem, you see just the radical Muslims as Muslims, but also the majority of the KDP and other secular parties are Muslims. There are some Muslim Kurds who are jashs and some Atheist Kurds who are jashs, but they are not the representative of all Kurds.

The Islamic parties represent the voice of Islam in Kurdistan and we did not hear a beep from them for what the shia mulla said which is an insult to the entire Kurdish nation...You know being muslim and such . But for an article they went as far as meeting Kurdistan PM and forced the region to change the law and lets not talk about the destruction they made in the process , so who are you kidding here ? The least they could have done is demand an apology and condemn what the idiot said or is it too hard to do that ?

As for "viewing Radical Muslim as Muslims "they are certainly muslim , but I think you mean viewing all mulsims as being Radical muslims which is not true . Did I talk to /treat you or any other Muslim in this forum like they are radicals ? Certainly not and people are free to believe in what they like , however surprisingly every muslim will go to distance to try to validate radical muslims actions and stands .

Just out of curiosity : do any Islamic party in Kurdistan label any Islamic organization or party as being radical or terrorist ?
