Hello everyone,

Glad to find this website !

I ' d like to know how to say phrases like : "We are friends " or "We are/I am your friend" in kurdish ?

Also if you could help me with the pronounciation of those phrases I would really appreciate this.

brother is just bra or in a non-family meaning the ending "aka" is added, like if i am saying to any of my brothers, i use the expression - brakam. "Bradar" is different word.
there are also other interesting expressions, if two girls are very close friends we can say they are "dastaxushkn", for boys "dastabran".

nice :) i learn kurdish from you. in kurmanji close boy/men friends are "hogir". it is also used as boy name. is -aka not added just to do it more sweet or little? :) (in kurmanji: brayé min - braké min)

berader is brother in persian.

i know the name you mentioned, i saw it before. about "aka" you are right, like :
gyan - gyanakam
chaw - chawakam...

but i think it would be more proper if i learn from native speakers, not opposite :D
but also from my experience i know that when i used to study english i learned better when i was helping others to learn - its a good method :)

I agree...

So now I'm wondering does this phrase ''Mn haz akam bbin ba hawre'' mean ''I like that we are friends'' ?
