kurd-sthanam wrote:-an is for plural but can also refer to group of population, like -ler/-lar in turkish. turkish has also -î from influence from iranian language, like "azerî" and "türkî diller" and can mean -ish in english, as in english.
i dont know with gorani or sorani, but exempel of an kurdish tribe: Reshiyan and refers to the whole population of Reshî(blacks/blakish) and -an to make it plural. Reshiyanî will mean person who comes from that tribe.

kurdimemin_diako wrote:Now I translate in Erdelanî (Sine:soranî):
Figs : hencîr هه نجیر
Dates : xurma خورما
Olives : zeîtun زه یتون
Green Apples : sêf sewz سیف سه وز or some people use : شه که ره سیو !
Red Apples : sêfe sure
Gorani and Sorani : soran and goran are names , and "î" at the end of it make it adjective .means related to soran .
