Bejoo: No offense and I hope you won't get upset with me. But here's some constructive criticism.

1. Try to make it less party political. For someone like me (who doesn't give a jack *** about PKK, PUK, PDK etc) it's incredible repulsive to watch these pictures. A turkish flag with a fist through and PKK written on the knuckles? I highly believe you can do better than that. Not all kurds sympathizes with PKK, PUK and PDK. And either you need to do your research regarding Mam Jalal, Barzani and Ocalan (because they are far away from good people) or maybe you highly sympathize with these characters. I don't find those posters amusing or "nice" and I most definitly don't agree with it's political contents.

2. The art work it's self is very tacky. It doesn't look professional, I'm sorry. It' looks like the work of a thirteen year old boy who just discovered Powerpoint. And to be honest, taking a picture of Barzani and Talabani, put a black frame around it and some text, is not a poster or art work. Or having the same screaming female soldier copied two times? And try not to pan out the pictures making them so long and wide. That really looks unprofessional.

3. And the last thing. The bald eagle? What's up with that? Are you aware that the bald eagle can only be found in North America? We're not americans. If anything, you should display our national animal and bird, the "kew/kaww"

Bejoo: I think you have to turn that sentence around. I respect everyone's opinion and political directions. If you have seen how I discuss matters at this forums, you have seen that I'm very constructive and I always do my best to do a proper research. I ment that you can do more neutral posters that reaches out to every Kurd instead of doing art that divides us into parties. I mean Kirkuk, the flag and etc... that touches us all. But putting Barzani and Talabani on those posters, you obviously made it clear to who you are aiming your art to, am I right? Unfortunatly I'm not on my own computer and to be frank I never done any Kurdistan art work (except for one painting, non-digital). But if you give me a month, I'll be glad to see what I can contribute to.

Kulka: I understand, but you can't say you support them but not for political reasons. They are a political party. Because when it comes down to it, they want the same thing as all other kurds want. To liberate Kurdistan. And if wanting to liberate Kurdistan is a PKK issue only, then I think I have been misled from start.

I guess my point is to do your research about these groups and individuals. I will never tell you not to support them, but be careful to praise them up to the skies and making them into something their not.

not for political reasons in a sence that you mean it - my sympathy for them comes from my heart. of course i may not know the truth, all the truth and nothing but the truth (as americans says at courts) - for sure i dont know, but till now i didnt see them to do any wrong things to kurds and kurdistan. i dont prey for them - its not that. and its absolutely not my job and not my point to make them the only one right thing. even if they make mistakes - they are only humans - as long as it doesnt harm kurdistan - i dont care.

no, barez, as much as i know sorani owl is - kundapapo. it says : kids all like eagles - coz kurdish kids are like that, eagles, tigers, lions.

how about this pic? is it ok?

greetings, my brother

wether we /you like it or not , Kak Masoud Barzani is the president of Kurdistan and Mam Jalal is the president of Iraq ... I am not here to talk about corruption ,... if this is what you are aiming and what upset you as it does all of us...

I am looking at it from the Kurdayti prospect only no more ... both presidents take alot of credits for where we at now (Kurdistan and the world) ... this is why most of Goran supporters are young students , because they have not seen , know or understand wht others surronding us can do to us .... and for you and others to understand why do we suppor and stand by both presidents 100% ... I am not worried about Kurdistan budget and money at this time ... we will have plenty of time to discuss and hold our officials responsible ... we need to focuse on Kurdayti

don't you agree de to our position in the world now , Turkey can't attack Kurds that easy anymore.... have you heard or seen the turkish counselor in Erbil meeting Kak Massod with our proud flag right in his face ..it might simple to you but for turks they rather die than to sit in a room with our flag present...

if all this means nothing to you ... then sorry to say that ..you are too far from Kurdayti ..and what our brave Pesharga fought for ....

I hope I did not say anyting out of respect to you or Goran supporters ...Kurdistan live in democracy ..that we all deserve ....

all your comments are welcomed .. but aim toward Kurdayti .. this is my only red line , I hate to see any Kurd to cross that...

Thank you

I hope you are aware that I'm not a Gorran supporter? Nawshirwan does not have a place in my heart or mind. So with that settled and put to the side, let's go back to the real topic.

I think it's highly ironic to talk about kurdayati in the same setence and mention the same people that has been holding the devolopment of Kurdistan back (our dear presidents). Should I start off with Jalal Talabani who said him self (and I'm not making this up) that Kurdistan is just a poetic dream? Or maybe Mr Berzani that embezzled 2 billion US dollar from it's own starving people? So how you talking about Kurdayati when the same people you made "posters" of, doesn't even believe in it? You asked for some constructive criticism for your art work and I gave you some advice for what I consider could make you score higher points among a broader audience. You alianate certain people by doing "art work" that in my eyes seem more like propagandic art, rather than expressions of your feelings. But than again, if that is your feelings about these people, you're entitle to express it that way. But than I'll give you criticism about your art, which I did. Do I need to quote my self on what I pointed out, artwise, I believe you can do to make your pictures look better?

Brother, I'm not PUK, PDK, PKK or Goran. I'm kurdish and I know my history. I wear my flag proud and inform everyone I meet about our beatiful nation and it's people. And most of all, I care about Kurdistan and the Kurdish people. I am the son of two peshmerga parents. Don't try to make it sound that I'm not all about Kurdayati.

Kulka: I'm not here to tell you, Bejoo or any one else what you're supposed to like about the art works presented in this thread. I just presented my own opinion. I don't have to think like you do and you most definetly don't have to think like I do.

My opinion about that picture, I think it's stupid. What is that supposed to represent? A girl with native american features, crying red and green (blood) that forms a burning flag of Kurdistan? The tear doesn't even run down the her chin, it forms a swirl right from her eye and swirls it self to the shape of a flag. If you wanna be deep about it, you can say "It represents the grief, the kurdish people have for it's country that is burning of agony". Ok...

Bottom line, I think it's tacky, cheezy and not deep at all. As I assume the teenage boy or girl who did it, to put it up on his/her Myspace site, thinks it is.

Sorry for sounding harsch, you wanted my opinion.
