hello...

could anyone tell me - is 'shirin' a kurdish word?

it means 'sweet', right?

and - is it ever used in some form as a name for a girl?

shirin means sweet in kurdish and persian (probably some other languages as well) . and yes, it's a girls name. i hope nobody names their boy shirin lol :D
