It was an extremely bad move on Turkey's part to attack Kurds PKK or otherwise

Kurds are the very people who are at the forefront of the fight against the Islamic State

Many of the Kurds involved in front-line fighting against the Islamic State - are members of PKK and/or splinter groups of same - and have been trained on Qandil

Turkey is obviously frightened about the growing strength and unity of Kurds in the Middle East

Kurds in Parliament

World recognises Kurdish input in fight against ISIS

Kurds gaining strength in Syria

The fear now is that Turkey will clamp down on anyone and anything remotely connected to the PKK

This could include HDP - depending on how brave Turkey is - theoretically Turkey could arrest all the Kurdish politicians

Let me be perfectly frank: I never believed in the so-called peace process

I have ALWAYS viewed it as a way of further suppressing the Kurds while the Turkish government continues it's military expansion into the Kurdish homeland

And I am sure that many readers will have noticed my periodic posts about Hasankeyf

Sadly Kurds were so disorganised that they could not even save Hasankeyf

Now they have to safe their homeland or become TURKS

Recently Kurds have managed to become more organised - perhaps at last they are switching off the TURKISH TV that most of them seem addicted to - and have actually realised what has been done in their homeland while they were sitting on their backsides watching those awful TURKISH soaps

Now is NOT the time for armed retaliation because that would only backfire on the Kurds themselves

Do not give erdogan any excuses to take further action against you - or he will lock up anyone remotely connected to the PKK including HDP politicians

The entire world knows that Kurdish fighters have been at the fore-front of the fight against the Islamic State

NOW is the time to UNITE in peaceful protest - both in Turkey and worldwide

It was terrible what happened to Fatma but should not be dragged up again after all these years

Also rather foolish because it makes it look as though Turkey has not done anything bad to the Kurds in the past 20 years

ISIS always acknowledge their attacks and keep records of the bomber concerned because he is a hero in their eyes

Turkey did announce the bomber's details rather too quickly
