Sadly - most Kurds coming to England NEVER attend any English celebrations - during the summer months our parks and full activities - fairs - music - re-enactments - never once has I seen a Kurd

The annual Battle of Hastings re-enactment in Battle, East Sussex with over 1,000 re-enactors on the same ground that the actual battle was fought in 1066AD.

Every time there is any form of activity Kurds should join in - share their food - music - dance

Not easy to log on this morning

I was right - this site is under attack again

I am the only person still on here - when I leave I doubt that I will get back again for a few days

To my friend:

GOOD LUCK with your exam tomorrow

I cannot even begin to imagine how difficult it is for you to study while all around you there is bombing - shooting - lack of food - lack of water - people dying

I think that you have done very well

When the idiots stop killing each other - it people such as yourself who will be needed to rebuild Syria's infrastructure

Those same idiots who are involved in the fighting do not see the big picture

The fighters are helping to rid Assad of the Kurdish population - a really brilliant plan on Assad's part - Assad and the Syrian government are working with most of these groups - and probably even instigating a great part of the conflict themselves

Much of the Kurdish land has been destroyed - Assad has even managed to get the PKK to give up most of the Kurdish land and move into 3 small unconnected cantons - an absolutely brilliant strategy - got to admit it is an excellent plan and one that is working very well

Think about it from Assad's point of view:

Due to all the fighting Assad remains in power

A great many Kurds have left Syria

PKK have now got Kurds to give up claim to a great part of the land that they have been occupying and lay claim to only 3 small unconnected cantons

It really is a WIN WIN scenario for Assad
