THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU :ymapplause:

It will be good to read the TRUTH about Kurds in Syria as written by a TRULY INTELLIGENT KURD and not one of the self-appointed self-opinionated self-centred MORONS who seem to delight in playing war games and are more intrested in their own self-aggrandisement than the lives of innocent people X(

The present day Kurdish leaders - apart from Barzani and Talabani - are NOT fit to kiss the feet of such PROUD KURDS as Qazi Muhammad - Cigerxwin - Ismet Chériff Vanly

7 April

Following all the months of rain we have had in England - some of the fields still have surface water on them - many farmers are still unable to prepare their land for planting :(

The level on my pond is still the highest I have known - it has not gone down at all - today I was rewarded by the sight of Mrs Duck and all her baby ducklings walk along from another pond onto mine :x

I did not have a camera but below is a library phoho - these look the same as my visitors :ymhug:

UK weather: Heatwave lasting THREE MONTHS to hit Britain with early summer

Image

ritain is to bask in sizzling sunshine as Met Office forecasters predicted a three-month heatwave to hit the UK.

After weeks of rain and cold, a bright start to spring saw temperatures hotter than Ibiza, which has paved the way for an early summer.

The Met Office three month forecast predicts the mercury will keep rising with warmer weather continuing until the end of June at least.

Last month was the 15th sunniest March on record and the sun should stay for the second half of April and May.

Average UK temperatures for April are around 11C and 16C in June, but last month thermometers were already showing 20C, promising a hot summer.

The Met Office reported that their three-month prediction showed the UK was set for above-average temperatures for April, May and June.

Some forecasters are suggesting the summer months will see temperatures ranging in the mid to high 20s.

Following the wettest ever winter which caused severe flooding in many parts of the country, the warmer weather will be a welcome change - particularly for the flood-hit communities in the south of England.

Dramatic fog which hit UK cities last week has now cleared but experts warned that although the smog has gone, pollution levels remain dangerously high.

8 April

I know that you are all waiting for a news update :D

Having spent a noisy night on my pond - Mrs Duck and all her baby ducklings wandered off down the road to the next pond - and they looked so CUTE :x

Piling would probably have taken one look at them and started to dream about orange sauce and fried duck breast :((

At the English seaside many people traditionally eat whelks:

And periwinkles:

Both the above are types of sea snails - neither have little fluffy coats or make happy little bleating noises :ymtongue:

Lambs are even trainable :D

phpBB [video]

And why murder a lamb when much older sheep could be used for food - mutton is just as good as lamb if cooked correctly - and it does not take much logic to realise that a fully grown sheep is able to feed a great many more people than an innocent baby lamb
