Saharan dust found on cars in London

Saharan dust whipped up by stormy weather in north west Africa has found its way on to cars across London.

A spokesman for the forecasters confirmed the dust, which is most easily observed on shiny surfaces as a thin film or muddy blotches, would be seen in London.

“This is something that happens a fair few times a year.

“We see dust from the Sahara whipped up by stormy winds, carried by the clouds and dropped when it rains.”

ondoners took to Twitter to comment on the strange substance.

Jordan Batts (@JordanBatts) said: “My road car has a layer of dust on it, and it seems everybody else in London has aswell... What the hell has gone on?”

And BBC weather presenter Tomasz Schafernaker (@Shafernaker) joked: “Today in london there’s SO much #sahara #dust that travel by #camel is simply a must!”

What about the poor person who has 29 February as his day

If there is already a saint for each and every day - what happens when the Pope wishes to make a new saint

I am sure that I remember Saint Christopher being removed from the list of Saints - did that really happen - if so why ? ? ?

Some legendary saints have been removed by Vatican. I don't know about saint Christopher. He has still his place :

There are some saints on 29th february, one is saint August (a missionary who went to China).

I know that Pope wanted to do that with saint George, but it would bea big schisme with Eastern churches : it is the most popular saint in Kurdistan
