About the secret and still life of books :

I have just finished 'Wide Sargasso Sea' by Jean Rhys, and by coincidence, the next book in my kindle list is 'Jane Eyre'.

(If you do not understand why it is a coincidence, then read them, both are great novels).

I am happy to read Jane Eyre again, it is one of my favorite novels since I was a child.

And Mr Rochester is for me what is Mr Darcy to Anthea

And now I feel like Jane Eyre when she fled from Thornfield as a beggar on snowy roads

I have to watch it in movies but I am afraid of 'sweet-candy adaptations' of that great black romantic story.

Timothy Dalton made a much better Rochester



than he did James Bond



and he certainly has not aged well

Yeah he is a fine and viril Rochester… perhaps too handsome, for when Jane Eyre answered that she does not find him 'handsome' it sounds curious
