Film rights :D

You could make a fortune if one of your books was turned into a film :shock:

Thinking: You have translated a great many Kurdish poems and stories - surely you could use one of them as the basis for a film :-?

In the Indian cinema many ancient poems are turned into films :D

There is a movie which is an adaptation of men and zin. Melayê Cizîrî 's poems have no story, it is not an epic literature.

I have always fought that my saga La Rose de Djam could be a good series like Game of Thrones :D

It would need a lot of money because I would be terribly strict concerning historical background, clothing, weapons of 12th century. No 'hollywood Middle Ages'. And also because I would like that for one of my characters,a great actor could play the role : Sean Connery would have been perfect but too old alas. :-D

So you have given it a great deal of thought :D

If not Sean Connery - who would be your next choice?

mmmm, I don't know but I want an English or an American actor because they are able to change completely their own personality in a role. I want someone able to play the role of a great Sufi, a faqir with some 'magic' powers which has the aspect of an old tricky beggar. You know these dervish like old Indian sadhus or gurus in ancient epic living between our world and Heaven and Hell.

I do not know actors enough for the casting. You can post your suggestion. :D Perhaps Indian actors could be great also because they are more able to understand that culture.

I Ching Day : 56. Itinerant troops

The troops burn their lodgings, lose their boy-servants. Determination danger.
=> All consent. Regrets disappear.

He shoots a pheasant, dead with one arrow. In the end praise and an assignment.
=> Praised retreat. Determination auspicious.

Wind and rain, rain, rain… As it is said in a French nursery rhyme :

Il pleut, il mouille,
c'est la fête à la grenouille !

I Ching day : 27. YÍ. Jaws

6 at 3: Rejecting jaws. Determination pitfall. For ten years no use. No ground for harvest.
The purpose of food is to sustain life, for the body and the spirit. Don't turn it to a dogma. Only eating what is 'right' or only eating what tastes nice are both wrong. Food should be healthy as well as tasty, feeding body and mind as well as eyes and joy.

:)) :)) :)) I think I Ching is mocking my next 50 days of Lent.

=> Advice : 22. Flower Power. Then energetic, then penetrating like water (lingering?). Ever flowing determination auspicious.
Honor strength as well as beauty, action as well as relaxation, inside as well as outside. Only if both sides of life's aspects are present, one will live. One-sidedness makes rigid and vulnerable.

Last week before Lent which means fasting, and sort of spiritual retreat so a disappearance from FB, Twitter, RBK, etc.
