I have no idea what you find interesting about kurds, middle-east or anything there. Western states just see dumb nations to exploit and oil wells, while western people see people they dislike/hate.

Unfortunately, in the case of Kurds - all a private chat-list would do would be to prevent non-members from learning what could be interesting facts and information about their suffering and slaughter - counter productive to the Kurdish cause and the current requests from all Kurdish groups for more international recognition and support

Furthermore, their is very little way of assuring that those in any chat-list are not spies - the best anyone could do is to protect there own hardware/software

First of, i never mentioned edward said, second i never said only kurds can study kurds. Even if i make the same argument as edward said, how is edward said is wrong? Why does something have to be original? You keep making statements you're never able to defend. If you think Edward Said's postion are wrong, then it's your burden to prove it is wrong, not make empty statements. You can't be serious comparing fishes to kurds, no analogy.

Any criticism, and you go into attack mode and become defensive. You can't expect the entire world to agree with you. Hence why debate is healthy.

Unfortunately - you are RIGHT

All anyone like myself do is to try and make others more aware of security and advice them on ways in which to protect their own computers and personal information

Computers are fun and the internet is a fantastic tool

But most people do not realise how much information sites such as Google search retain - I did a test once to prove it to my friend - I asked Google about business consultancy - now every time I use that computer - not mine - the top answers it gives me are all related to business consultancy

No two people receive exactly the same search results - the results are geared to ones personal search histories - kept and shared by Google

I can't exactly recall how many times I wanted to post something on this site and I hesitated ending up closing the box altogether without hitting that submit button. The reason was I knew that not only Kurds(assuming that they are really Kurds not trolls) are going to see my posts, rather, others whom I don't know(may be a spy, an intruder, or possibly one with a heart full of hatred to Kurds who is lurking around to explore my thoughts and thinking) is the one who is siting on a computer from the other side with his boss always in loop. It's true that we would like to have the world knowing about our cause, to re-introduce our cause over and over and earn some support. Though, I don't think we can make that distinction here, we can't tell the friend from the foe. It supposed to be for Kurds only, so that we can share our concerns more vividly and touch each other's wounds so that we can prescribe the perfect remedy. We seriously need to have some screening for people around here, some ID verification or some sort of questions through e-mail may be! Untill we have that, I will remain silent and pick my words very carefully.

That was my thought of the day.
