Well, the design of the tramway was finished in May, they are now waiting for budget approval (or they have already got that, i don't know!). Next step is implementation.
The tramway projects of suli and duhok are also under way, but erbil is their first priority
Anyway, the tram will have 87 stops and the cost is 1,6 billion dollars.

Will be nice to see construction getting started. 1,6 billion is not much for an infrastructure project, thats 1/10 of the budget, Bagdad alone stole 1,5 billion from us.

That is indeed not very much, but implementing all three of them would take up a big chunk of the budget
