How good is your Kurdish? .

Well in this thread members can post a short paragraph/sentences in kurdish and challenge othere member to translate it to English . It is a good way to get help in translation and also improve your linguistic skills . The paragraph could be about anything , politics , lyrics , poem , proverbs .....etc .

Here is my first paragraph in kurmanji .

Xwendevanên hêja,

weke ku hûn jî dizanin rojnameya me Le Monde diplomatique-kurdî, dê ji vê hejmarê ve tenê li ser înternetê, bi rêya çapa elektronîk weşana xwe bidomîne.

it also means something to do with people in erzurum and erzinjan but i dont know

Thats a word Persians use. I also just realized that it sounds very similar to the Turkish arkadash (which means friend), dadash might simply be a short form of that word.

So I was wondering is it used in common kurdish, I never heard it from kurds but I hear irani rinse it

I've never heard a Kurd use dadash, even Kurds from Rojhalat (Kurds that might use a few extra Persian words).

Kurmanci is spoken at home on daily basis so you can imagine how good it is.

I have heard some Kurds using it, and it is actually a Kurdish tribe the Dadash who got partly turkified.
