jjmuneer wrote:Are you for real? So your trying to insult me? Why would say that just cause were Fayli? I will not talk to you if you want to undermine Fayli Kurdish. Maybe I interpretted you wrongly, but please stop prejuding us.

They saw us-Yana Dîn em

And no I don't understand Kurmancani, nor do we say Bo or cima.

what insult? i only ask. and i sad nothing wrong with feyli is non-ergative because most of worlds languages are like that (95% i guess)

i asked only because i would know how feyli is. i thought fayli is non-ergative but as you write its ergative. and i dont undermine fayli or any other dialect. i think its good that we speak other languages or dialects inside kurdish but i am for protect languages, and not let it in UNESCO worlds threathed languages list like zazaki and hewrami.

yana dînim

how do you say it in present?

hey jj :-D are you sure about that what you wrote means "They see us" or "they saw us"? it sounds not correct

(they saw us - they see us)
yana dînim (past) ??
yana eynim (present) ??

past and present in the other dialects:

kurmanci:
wan em dîtîn
ewana me dibînin

zazaki:
înan ma dîme (?)
ê ma vînenê (?)

sorani:
êmeyan dît
emanbînin

I'm sure, but its dînem, well if you want to pronounce it like that, it won't make that much of a difference.
'Eynenem' is actually how it should be for present, but I say it quick, so to you it would sound different.

it sounds realy strange. yana eynenem means "they see us"? it sounds like "we see them" like kek alan also said.

i hear it as "i" and not "e" in "we feyli" program you posted.

I guess its I, but that is how we say it. Though the thing with we Fayli is they don't speak pure fayli, because they also use Sorani words for Sorani viewers. As the host is Xanaqini.

Do you guys say 'Bijim' for walk? 'Bi' is walk. I don't have the Sorani keyboard on this one.

Oh no I meant Bi is come. Yes I am writing it in latin. Pyase? Lol it sounds close to Pyaze, for onions :P For I am walking, we say 'Ejimim', and yes this also in latin. I will download the Sorani keyboard on my computer later.
