Barzani "March is a special months among kurds and great surprise on the way for them".

in a youth conference of all 4 parts of kurdistan, Barzani announced that this month carries a great surprise for kurds without referring to what he meant ....

he says in March great surprise awaits kurds cos all happiness and sadness of kurds happened in march ,,, like halabja , 1991 uprising and nawroz he means ...... and he says " we cant wait for any country to give us what we want , we have to make it happen what we want and then negotiate with countries the aftermath " .... i have a good feeling he mite declare a state in nawroz !

Since it was a t a youth conference I have a bad feeling the surprise will be the two songs "halabja gula" and "this time for kurdistan" by doshka and shakira... let's all hope that our wishes come true this one time.. how can you pay more respect to the martyrs of halabja if not by declaring a state in honour of their blood?

jes, i have a good feel about this newroz. the time for the kurdish people is coming and serok barzani know, the arabs dont want that kurdistan will get powerful

Yassin Majid a member on the SLC announced that they are waiting for the surprise Barzani has promised Kurds in Nawroz , whether it is independent , of self-determination right!

In a statement the former Iraqi planning minister announced , according to the information gathered from Kurdistan , Kurds are preparing for a referendum on independence .

Ali Baban the former Iraqi minister has published a statement which speaks of Kurdish intentions and preparations to hold a referendum in the 3 Provinces and the Sliced off areas , he urges the Iraqi Govt to have a quick response on this matter.

he says if Kurdistan holds the referendum and declares a state , it will be the beginning of a new wave of conflict for the rest of Iraq.

Kosrat Rasul Pres. deputy chairmen announced : he will be honored to announce a kurdish state , he said Kurds have been fighting for their rights for decades therefore it is not logical not to have a state of their own , he also stated that Iraq will be divide in to a Kurdish Shia Sunni state.

he told Al Sharq al Awsat newspaper that if it was to him he would declare a kurdish state today but he said it is not his authority to do so but its the Kurdistan parliament's authority .

Regarding any possible conflict between PUK and PDK he said , we have a strategic agreement between us and we will never end it under no circumstances .
