ocmentos wrote:hh it's not about competition, they have got a long way to reach our intellect level, that's not what we don't like....We don't like Hawleri culture. They suck up to anyone, baith, PDK, PUK anyone.... When did this thing start with these two cities. how about when Saddam asked the Musicians in Slemani to make him a song of praise, Slemani obviously declined ( punished ofcourse), then they go to Halwer and ask them to compose a song.. a month later there is this new song in Kurdish "Zera Zera" = he is gold, he is gold .. and Slemani was like "what?!" and afterwards more and more of these actions just disgusted the name of Kurds and Kurdistan- when Hawleris change this SUK culture of theirs, like now where no one speaks up, when people die and they party for mastaw to PDK, when they stop kissing shoes, when they stop accepting Turkish flags around their city, when they actually become Kurds and men- that's when we will stop harassing their city, I love Hawleris they are Kurds and they are our brothers, and personally I wouldn't do anything to them rude or discriminatory just because they are from Hawler, but I will surely point out how Hawleris in general should work and change that weak culture of theirs. till then their city is to us inferior.
but here in Rojhelat we don't have two competition cities ! it is because Sine is atleast 2.5 times larger than other large cities !
(I think Bukan is 2end largest city)
what about Kirmanshah? is it totally Farsi?

He talked about the region of kordistan. kordistan is not enitire rojhelat. Kermansha(N)!!!! Is 100% procent kurdish, many famous kurds are from kermansha(N)! Kermansha(N) is much bigger than sine. Kermansha(n) has always been kurdish and will be, but because of historical reason it has alots of persian influence, they wanna swap of our indentety. Just look at ilam aswell. Or Ectebatana, todays Hamedan, was built by our ancestors, it was our capital aswell. Now Hamedan is full of persians. I think saqqes is bigger than dokan. But what about Mahabad:P Pure kurdish city. Also very big, but it can't be compared to worme, ( orumiye) I think it is smaller then kermansha(n) but bigger than sine. Many turkomens lives there though, like kirkuk.

I recently visited kermanshan, 2 months ago. I could see old men in kurdish clothes working in workshops, making klash, pelaw, kurdish pants, swal. I could see kurdish women making carpets. The kurds in kermanshan havn't lost their identity, they still know kurdish, now the kurdish cultures even better then us in sine and many other kurdish cities. I think they are actully the best on making traditional kurdish stuff after hawraman and these small places.. But in the same time they like iran alot. Since kermanshan is a mix of persians and kurds. Even in iranian TV reportage in Kermanshan you could see their accent was kurdish in persian. Kermanshan has a mix of iranian culture, but the majority of theese cultures are kurdish. So many krudish singing groups comes from kermanshan. From amateurs to pro's. SO because one guy said i'm a kurd from kermansha(N)! and speak persian means that 1 million kurds in kermanshan speaks only persian? WRONG. Kermanshan is kurdish, and will always be kurdish. Lets not deny the kurds who lives in kermanshan.

KRG PM paid a visit to (Sera) square which is currently under restoration and is going to be labelled as a Unesco site in Sulaimani city . He closely met with the manager and engineers for the project to listen to the progress of the restoration

the restoration is part of a master plan for the city . Worth mentioning the square was first built in 1927.

Maybe you spoke to the wrong people. Just look around kermanshan, the tribe, the farmers. They are all kurds, so did you speak to over one million people? No, i guessed so. Why shall we deny it? THe persians now it very well themself. Many persians have moved to kermanshan this years, still not the majority. The kurds were forced to move out of iran, but they came back and regained their places, some of these got assimilated, they are now in north eastern iran, around mashad. Thank god we had people like Simko, but he was aswell a very good slayer, killed many persians. Making revolts. It's like kirkuk, they remove kurds from importent cities and take in persians, kermanshan for it's history. Still we are the most in kermanshan.

Slemani is just beautiful, Hawler is nice too, but it just doesn't have the natural beauty of Slemani. I like most of the development going on, but what's the point of all these malls? I think they are just going overboard with it now.

Edit: and is the Garmyan region getting any of these shiny new buildings? I noticed, when there was this one festival with country's from all over the world that was held in Kalar, they didn't even have a hotel for the guests. Is it because Gorran is the major party of that region and so KRG isn't developing it much?

Kalar is nice and there is a hotel but maybe there is not enuff i agree . Gorran is only valid in Silemani , Garmyan and Kirkuk are all PUK.
