the building on that picture is the one i was thinking of - that is near entrance to Azadi Park and near Tawar Palace.
I am very proud that i recognize it - not bad as for someone who was in Suley only 4 days !

the project was initially started in 2004 then it came to a halt. in 2010 it started once again and it due to complete in 2012. 39% has completed . a private company FURAT is currently working on it and is supplying all the necessary facilities for the park such as: watering system that works with an advance computerized system, under ground electricity system , green area , tree, flowers , lightening system etc..... located in Hawari shar suburb in Silemani . the project was 1st suggested by KRG PM Dr Barham Saleh, cost of the project is 45 Million ID. in the future the following projects will be constructed in the park and their is a piece of land allocated for them , they are Motels , hotels , swimming pools , play grounds , restaurant, cafes, sports complex and kids play grounds.

interesting, I haven't heard of this for a long time! it was supposed to be the largest park in the middle east, do you know if that is still the case?

till now Sami Abdulrahman in Hewler was the biggest par - it would be nice if this one in Suly would be completed.

from the history of Slemani till around 2006, Slemani had always been nicer than hawler- that changed when they started stealing our cities' money and water to Hawler... now Slemani is left uncared for - sad. but till we remain we will take our revenge on them- those who invite Turks to Kurdistan and fill it with Turkish flags- those who steal the oil from the people and give it to the Turks for their own fortune. how sharply cruel is life!

Slemanyi is also beutiful and great. Both cities are great - as all Kurdistan, both cities have their own special athmosphere - and me personally - who have been in both cities - if you ask me, which one is better, i couldnt answer that question, coz i love both. if you tell me - i give you house and money - just choose in which city you prefer to live - i would not be able to choose, coz both are great.
I cried when i came to Hewler in the middle of the night andf i saw Qalla for the first time. and i cried when i was leaving Slemanyi and i saw Goyzha for the last time.
Both cities are great and shouldnt be against each other and make a competition because of stupid, dirty politics.

it's not about that. capable people are supposed to be rewarded not punished. how is it in any way fair that Hawleri workers get more money than Slemani ones? I am going to speak out against injustice and i am not going for a second worry if that hinders Kurdistan's progress or not I could care less about Kurdistan's progress when it comes to human rights.
