Hello
Just want to ask you. Is it " Berin " what you are looking for its meaning or " Berîn " ..
If it's " Berîn " I am not sure i think it comes from " Berî " which means to be " the first "
Example
" ew Berî teva hat " means " he/she Comes before everyone " or " he/she was the first who comes " :)

again I say I am not sure :) :)

Hi Qamishlo, it's English version is pronounced with an "i" : Berin . I am unsure of it's original Kurdish form.

Thanks...Anton.

Xwesh Hati (Kurdish "Welcome")

Meanings of Berin in Kurdish:

1. first, prior "ber-in"
2. belonging to surface "ber-in"
3. belonging to desert/sahara "beri-in"

all are derived from "ber" or "beri" plus the suffix "-in".

If you have any furthur questions, feel free to ask. I love to talk abt Kurdish language all the time :D 8)
