Isn't that partly Turkish or?
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Thank you brother... I was waiting for that question!

Yes - Firat is in TURKISH!

I was starting to worry thinking maybe AlbaSaab thought it's Kurdish! :P

Did you think so AlbaSaab? That the song is Kurdish...? :)

I think you know it's Turkish...

You don't have "Lar" / "ler" .. etc in Kurdish. That's why I thought this.

Hey! I don't understand much of anything, but I happened to like the song. It's just a pity and shame when we have to bring politics into our preferences for the arts. I'm not blameless by any means, but it is a shame that sometimes we can't appreciate a tune or song because of our narrow-mindedness.
