I was not wondering about you, I forgot...:) but about a "turkish" girl I was supposed to meet tonight. Well yeah she was kurd (alevi). And CUTE!!!!! :twisted:

I have only met guys with the name, Heval. Never heard of it being used for a girl, but who knows...

I'm sure you were joking... but let me just say that Alevi's have adopted many teachings of Islam. Many Alevi's today, although more closely follow the teachings of Zoroastrianism, visit the Mosque for prayer.

No, it has nothing to do with social pressure. Even the ones living outside of Kurdistan, in Europe and the U.S., visit the mosque for prayer.

I never heard of Alevi's praying in mosques.. are you serious hevale? Alevi's don't pray in mosques..
