It seems to have a wounded wing. Still drinks, not eat.

If it survives but can't fly anymore, what am I going to do with THAT ? Pirouette will kill it. :?

I think it is a young Kurdish 'kotr'.

Kurds here LOVE birds. I think I could find a house for it, if it can't fly anymore.

This reminds me with myself when I found a pigeon chick on the road, fallen from the nest, which was very high. I took it home and force-fed it with soaked bread. After a few days, she learnt to help herself to eat. We were living on the fourth floor of a council housing. she grew up and became domesticated. She was coming back every night. The following year, she found a partner and made a nest on the balcony. Her partner also became domesticated. He was coming inside to look for food and was protecting the balcony from other pigeons. They made two chicks. Before they grew up we left. I don't know what happened to them after that.

It is a shame that there are so few people like you :((

I always feed the wildlife and have also looked after injured animals and birds :D

The pigeon is still eating and drinking and I even bath it. It is probably young and can't yet fly. I hope it will learn soon, I can't keep it in a cat house. So I don't want it becomes too tamed.

Until now it stays on the ground and not even fly to jump on the table. But its wings are not wounded and it seems ok.

So let be patient…

(I have absolutely no idea if it is a male or a female).

Dear Piling I think this pigeon had a sort of shock. This is why it doesn't fly. But gradually it will. This is a domesticated type. I don't think it will go away when flies.

Well if it does not want to leave, I will find it an owner, or it will have many shocks again when Pirouette catches it.

It will never realise how lucky it is to have been caught by your cat and not somebody else’s cat :ymhug:

Kurdistan style : September 9th, the minister of Education stated that the beginning of School year (September 18th) was delayed until 27th, after a meeting with teachers in Suleymanieh.

Yesterday evening, the same minister announced that at the end, the class will restart on October 1st, because according to some administrators, everything was not ready.

Dream Land for students : the eve of the School year, suddenly, TV informs that you have yet 5 days of holidays.

Does the school close down over the Christmas / New Year?

While the school is closed do the teachers still get paid?

How is the little bird?

Love your new photo :ymhug:

I think that the only activity of a pigeon is to eat and poo. It does both very well, in all parts of the room.

ISIS states that breeding pigeons is un-islamic. I wonder what they accept, in life.
