VIENNA (AP) — Austrian conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt has died after a career characterized by a search for authenticity in Baroque and other classical music. He was 86.
The Vienna Society of Friends of Music, which was closely associated with Harnoncourt, said he died Saturday night, but didn't specify the cause of death.
Harnoncourt was one of the last great postwar Austrian conductors, alongside Herbert von Karajan, Karl Boehm and Carlos Kleiber.
His concern for historical detail was legendary and he thought of his conducting as alive and romantic, not a relic of history.
His recording of Bach's St. Matthew Passion won a Grammy Award in 2001.

And adorable fluffy little things will soon become big fury males and females who are going to make other fluffy little things each others and etc. etc.
I just cross my fingers for she prefers to give birth outside and hide them, and care them alone, and when they will be adults hunting them away from her territory.
If she bring them as kitties in the house they won't be wild cats and will never go.
Spring in Duhok, mosquitos, crickets and shooting (?) every night (may be target practice in a wasteland).
