And I have no idea. I thought about an exercise bike, but I fear it would be just a useless gadget.

No idea ?

For you an exercise bike t would be useless because you do not suffer from lack of exercise - youdo more than enough exercise with all the walking around that you do at work :))

You need something FUN :ymhug:

Perhaps a toyboy :ymdevil:

Perhaps something unusual :-?

I suggest you take a look at the gadget websites :D

I do wonder if it would have been better to be known for my body than my brains but since my ongoing affair with the Great God Cadbury there is no chance of me every looking that thin :ymdevil:

Storm yesterday, grey sky today, but still properly warm (26ºc). I am reading Case Studies, by Kate Atkinson (I am a fan of Kate Atkinson).

In exactly 2 weeks, I jump merrily in my 50s. Half-century. I know I am not normal but I love the idea to grow old. :-D

Turkey's warplanes continue to bomb areas around Amedi in Iraqi Kurdistan targeting PKK fighters

Amedi is that the place you intend to live :-s

They won't bomb the city, fortunately :-D In fact, in Amadiyya area, PKK is stuck there since 90s and Turkish military troops also. But most of the targets that Turkish planes hit currently are left by PKK and are still ghost villages or cultivated by people (that explains the civilian casualties).

Bombing PKK places in these mountains is just a comedy. But they could not bomb Kurdish places in Syria so they did that.

It woild be good if PKK could leave KRG because this guerilla is just useless there. But they will never obey to Öcalan.

Have many innocent civilians been killed there?

It is difficult to find any genuine information :-s

Until now I read 2 wounded people : 1 man who lost his leg, and a boy of 12. Now some forests are burning also.

I wonder if the forest burning is intentional - the Turkish military did a lot of that in the past - they burnt a lot of forests and even farm lands X(
