Iran does that in a very large scale, in each city in Iran there are big devices sending parazit waves against the sattelites, that blocks the sattelites to broadcast in that region.
unfrotunately lots of people get cancer in Iranian cities beecause of that, even iranian islamic aka parliement (fake parliement) agreed that it is hurting people's health.

there is another way as oppsite to put it in the city, is to attack the sattelite in the space , Iran can not do it in its land, because it has to be Directly under the satttelite with not much slope, so they put it in syria which is like Iran's bitch.

Last time I was in Iran, Iranian agents were collecting sitelite boxes to confinscate them so, I guess they are doing this because they couldn't get everyones box.

yes this is very common, however most time they don't even knock on the door, they just go up on peoples roof and take it. Some of my relatives have built something like a protection around it with locks and everything.
