The interesant thing is, that "kaynak" does exist only in Turkey Turkish and Azerish, and that "kendi" only in Turkey Turkish.

Very interesting info's Heval. To ra sipas! In addition, I like to inform you of Azerbaijani pronounciations which can tell on borrowing:

axsham / aqsham = evening

qarpyz = melon

qan = blook


qarshi = itch



but I think "kul" ~ "ash" may be removed from the list, since in Azerbaijani it's also "kul".
But when the prayer is over then disperse abroad in the land and seek the grace of God, and remember God much, that you may be successful.

thanks for the infos, i think that "kül" can comes from iranic xwel-, maybe from sogdian?

Ure welcome bro. Well, it's possible, though I dont have a Sogdian dictionary to look it up. I hope to buy a Sogdian dictionary very soon. 8)
