Thanks. I want to learn Turkish and Kurdish too. I know more Turkish then Kurdish currently. We could also translate Kurdish sentences to Turkish and vice versa. Good idea?
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Allow me to correct some Kurdish vs. Turkish vs. English lines, because some of the translations weren't accurate enough:

Kurdî ------------ Türkçe ------------------ English
Roj baş === Iyi günler / Gün aydin = Good morning / Good day
Sipas ===== Teşekkür ===== Thanks
Gellek ====== Çok ======= A lot
Silav ====== Selam / Merhaba = Hello / Hi
Navê te çiye? = Adin/Ismin ne? = What's your name?

When saying "Bye" in Kurdish - you can say it in a dozen ways:

Xuda/Xua hafiz - Xatirê te - Xatir be bo - Oxur bît - Roj/Şev/Êvar baş etc.

All depending on who you are saying it to - and what time of the day/or simply the occasion...

Schoolmaster - I'll translate those lines into Kurdish for you when I am back from work later this evening... :)

Take care

HOW CAN WE USE EXELL TABLE HERE?

I WANT TO REWRITE THE SENTENCES SYSTEMATICALLY. THEY MUST BE IN TABLE NOT TO BE CONFUSED.

TO COLLECT ALL INFORMATION IN A PAGE, CAN YOU OPEN A MEMBER PAGE AS IN THE OTHER FORUMS?
