I'm a sorani speaker but I think Kurmanjí should become the base of kurdish language. Because it got feminine and maskuline and that adds richness to the language. And then let it get influenced by other dialects and add synonyms and etc. Take away all arabic/turkish/persian words and add from the other kurdish dialects. And then when you go to an area where they speak Lekí for instance, they will still speak Lekí and also know "Kurdí". Just like Italy and many other countries. The dialects won't be forgotten just like many other countries dialects are not forgotten. They've survived until now haven't they? And also the distinct culture of the dialect and music etc. will also make it survive.
