Good question 10 years ago many kurds were living in villages around Urmiyeh, since then I would say atleast 80-90% of kurds left the villages for the city life. I would say its 50/50 between kurdish and ajam, I actually had an ajam ask my uncle where all the kurds came from, because before it was probably 10-20% kurdish. If something happens in Iran I could see big problems between kurds and ajams, but at the end of the day we'll make urmiyeh part of kurdistan like it or not

Thanks for the info , My uncle lived in Wirme for many years when he was studying and he said that kurds were more than 50%, closer to 60%. However I am not so sure. Wirme has always been a part of Kurdistan, azeris are nothing but invaders and immigrants to our lands. However many azeris(non nationalists) have nothing against us kurds so I belive they wouldn't have anything against living under kurdish administration.
