Badrkhan Publishers announces program changes

ERBIL, August 22 (AKnews) – Badrkhan Publishers has announced a number of changes to its program, such as changing the Badrkhan newspaper to weekly and bringing drama and art to its festivals.
Director Hamid Badrkhan said: "Writers and the advisors body of Badrkhan decided a complete change to take place in the publisher, especially in publishing Badrkhan papers and organizing festivals to make a bridge between Kurds and nations in the world.
"On the occasion of printing 165 editions of the paper, which is October 22, it’s the 12th anniversary of the paper and the paper will be printed weekly instead of monthly.
"It is in our program to make changes in the four festivals that are organized abroad every year. We don’t want to restrict our festivals to expert and intellectual talks but want to move to drama, arts, monodrama, dance and songs.”
With regard to taking artists and intellectuals abroad to organize festivals and carrying out activities, the director said: "We regularly select intellectuals and figures in all institutes, organizations and cultural places, especially Aras Publishers because the publisher has competent and capable staff. Director of Aras Badran Habeeb is one of the chosen ones.
"Aras is one of the developed publishers in the Kurdistan Region. Its books are professional and have no deficiency. It is one of the beautiful publishers, which has its own printing house.”
