I like that name, it is kurdish and it is international at the same time
there are lots of poems, in Persian, Kurdish , Arabic, English...lots of movies and music about Leyle
also the beautiful romance novel, Leyle U Mecnun .

the reason i asked is because me and my husband like the name so much but when he told family they all said it wasnt nice, and no way should we use it and that its a 'village' name? i just didnt get it. its so pretty!
