Does anyone know how much money it costs to go to SK Erbil for this year summer? Me and my dad want to go and from there probably visit my family. If anyone has any cheap airlines please inform me, I'll do my own research of course, but it would be helpful if anyone knows any cheap airlines.

Thanks.

Go to the EIA >> then Airport Guide>> then Airlines.

I think the Jordanian, Viking, Fly Dubai, Air olympic etc, are all cheap. I dont think there are any flights less $500 or pounds. I have never booked one so iam not really sure.

I don't recommend FlyOlympic! We had a lot of trouble with them.

Austrian Airlines is the best one we've tried. We had no trouble with them but it's more expensive though..

Before you order tickets check up the company. Many new companies does no deliver and many of their flights gets cancelled. Look up reviews of the companies online.

I think Austrian airline is most reliable, but costly . The cheapest way to go to Southern Kurdistan is to fly to Istanbul and they have daily flights to Amed (Diyarbekir ) for 100 dollars . From there you can take a taxi to the boarder . It gives you a chance to see Northern Kurdistan and if you have family or relatives or close friends then you can stay for few days there and check things out .

Thanks for the advice Heval Talsor, but we tried that with Iran last time and I'm not making that mistake again. All the way from Tehran to SK took like a few hours car drive, I got headaches and it was so tiring. I'll try and get advice from some Kurds around here, as I'm also looking to stay for a long period to visit my family.

I've been trying to book flights, but as you guys have said they are quite costly, as its not just for me but two other adults who are accompanying me. The minimum is like around 550, which is ok, but still even we economy class I think its a rip off. It is return aswell however. I will look at the Amed option, but honestly I'll get overly stressed with those long car journeys.

That is expensive, but I don't have an income. Even if I do get a job at this age, I'd have to save up for 2 years, in that time I'd be in my second year of unvi. Plus that doesn't include tax, times that by three around £2000. 2400 dollars is around the same of 2000 pounds I think.
