Hi friends, I wonder why there is not a section for historical discussion in Roj Bash Kurdistan?!

Anyways for now I ask my questions here in this thread:

What was kingdom of Kayusid? Who were its kings? Plz can you help me by providing a link to their historic relics such as Qalai Yazdgird (though it has no actual relation to Yazdgird) or their coins or famous statues? Who was Madig? Who was Haftanbukht? What was a Kotyar? what was exact borders of these kingdoms? Do you have a map of the region?

(all these questions belong to the period of Kurdish history from 2th centuries AD to 6th Ad.)

Thank you very very much!

You can discuss that in the Kurdistan forum. You can already see a lot of historical topics in there.

I accept that there is a Kurdish nation. Kurdish nation is stronger in Islam.

I can suggest you to read Karnamak-i Ardashiri Papakan, though it is writen in a very dificult and confusing way.

The people whom he refered to as Kurds prior to him were actually largely known as Mede or people of Median provinces of Iranian empires, especially by Iranian sources. Roman and Greek sources refer to them with names similar to 'Kurd'. (these words must have been romanized or helenized). I'm not sure for what reason Ardashir (their enemy) refer to them as 'Kurds'. Maybe this had a certain meaning. consider Gurd in older persian means warrior, hero.

I don't know that term. Do you know what it is suppose to mean or in which context you read it ?
