Kurdistan is neither Islamic nor defined by any single religion
All religious groups, Christians, Muslims, Yazidis and practitioners of all other more traditional Kurdish beliefs and all non-Kurdish faiths, are welcome to freely practice their faith in Kurdistan (The Land of the Kurds)
One of the main factors hindering Kurdistan’s development is the manipulation of religion imposed by occupation forces as a tool to divide Kurdish societies and exploit (steal) Kurdistan’s mineral resources
We call on ALL Kurds, be they Muslims, Christians, Yazidi or worshipers of older traditional Kurdish beliefs and all non-Kurdish faiths to unite, live peacefully with mutual love and respect, and continue practicing their respective religions in harmony
