For the first time in Autumn, we have in September the same temperature than in Kurdistan : 32ºc-34ºc. Now it is over, but obviously, Nothern Europe is going to be soon the land of olives and pistaccios.

And as iraq will be drier and drier, Kurdish mountains will face a flood of climatic refugees in 21th century.

Royal banquet at Versailles, and the arrival of guests while paparazzi are waiting hours and claim for a picture. Some guests are nice and accept to take the pose, some are pricks.

https://www.youtube.com/live/ydq9q5SoeC ... fMi_A1i7EN

18'11 : Stéphane Bern, our French correspondant for Buckingham, madly in love with the Royals.

20' : Carole Bouquet, one of our most beautiful actress in the past, quite mummified now, hardly daring to smile, in case of her face-lift would crack. But her dress is the most elegant, btw.

21' : Hugh Grant, one of my special crush =(( , kind, friendly, smiling to the paparazzi, that's a grand seigneur.

34'20 : Emma Mackey : Special Lady Muck Award, walking on the red carpet without a glance, chewing her gum like a ruminating cow…

47.43' : Charlotte Gainsbourg (Jane Birkin's daughter) realising that Versailles might be a very windy place, but with her impeccable legs, that's smart.

48' : Mick Jagger, rock and roll backward attitude.

Obviously, French people are colors phobic. All these black dresses, as if it was a banquet for funerals. And the ecenomical crises seems to incite tailors to spare the fabric : split dresses are dominating.

And the final : Queen Camilla and Brigitte Macron decided to wear blue navy dress. Quite dull. in the night :

Hugh Grant was the most honoured guest at this banquet : he was seated next to Brigitte Macron, while Camilla had Gérard Larcher, the president of French Senate and then the 2nd official of the State, at her left.

So Brigitte Macron might have also a crush for Hugh.

Mick Jagger owned a castle in France for 40 years. So we can consider him as half French ;) And he is very popular, here. I think that French boomers have always prefered the Rolling Stones to the Beatles.

Kate Blanchett was also a guest, as Ken Follett and Kristin Scott Thomas (who got also the French citizenship).

I've just learned that Hugh Grant, too, lives in France and speaks a very good French. He told to paris Match magazine, that he adores France and it is the only place where he feels happy.

So I wonder : WHY so many British personnaities are so fond of France, and prefer it to England ? Is Great britain so bad now ? The fun thing is that many French dislikes what our country is becoming.

I will never understand the rage from women against Queen Camilla. I think it is the proof that women have always been fighting against their own side :D

Sure, Lady Diana was a victim. But victim of what ? A forced marriage imposed to CHARLES and not her (of course she was not aware of that, and this is why she is the first victim). Charles did not love her and never loved her. So why did he marry her and not Camilla ? Because Camilla was divorced and both late Queens Elizabeth pressed him and push Diana Spencer who seemed to be the perfect docile princess of Wales. As usually, 'arranged marriages' are the work of matriarch power… When we consider why Henry the VIIIth created Anglican Church, that opposition from his successors to divorces is funny.

So a man in his 30s, spoused a young beautiful girl, instead of a woman of 30s, not so beautiful. And what's happened ? The young beautiful one lost the match. If you consider all these mature-old men, divorcing from their old wives to marry girls who could be their daughters… I don't understand why Camilla is not supported by all feminists B-) A faithful love of 50 years, braving everyone, the Royals, the Crown and the population… Camilla is my heroin :ymapplause:

You may have a point but we in the UK were promised the Happy Hooker would NEVER be Queen

Only a truly EVIL person would set out to destroy a family with children

I LOATH the Happy Hooker 8-|

I don't know about others but Hugh Grant is quite political and gets involved in bashing the Tories a fair bit. He doesn't like the country with them in power, he's in the centre and they're are right wing. Also, the English and Welsh are quite docile (from the decades of indoctrination from the British media) and he's not, his mindset and mentality are closer to the French, he believes in the people fighting the power, protecting your rights etc. Just the impression I get from him. He's very funny and witty on SM (I follow him on Twitter) - very likeable.

The forum is so slow that between the lapse of time between the moment I log in and can post something, an independent Kurdish State might be founded.
