I am a newcomer because this forum is

17 YEARS OLD

Piling joined the forum on 09, April 2005

Though you may not see their names on recent posts, these 2 wonderful people keep this site functioning by doing all the legal and technical stuff, moderating etc

Sadly, there are very few people who dedicate so much time and energy to Kurdistan

Over the years, this site has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and information unavailable anywhere else

I have learnt a great deal from this site and the extremely knowledgeable Piling

I have also learnt a great deal from my dear friend, and grandson of the famous Harki(Herki) Leader Chief Zero Beg, he not only shared his passion and knowledge for all things Kurdish with me, but also designed the flag/image at the top of this page for me

I must also mention my friend and mentor, the highly respected Dr Jawad Mella, a well known political figure and author who established Kurdistan National Congress in 1985

For a United and Free Kurdistan

I have often shared Dr Mella's writings on this forum

I hope that I do not have to wait for another 9 YEARS before for our hope of a United and Free Kurdistan becomes a reality

Roj Bash World!

“Roj Bash” is the Kurdish term for “Good Morning”

It is a peaceful message from Kurdistan to the world

“Roj Bash” contributors are not necessary Kurd by ethnicity but by heart

Roj Bash forum is a place where everybody is invited to express freely

Here, we speak not only about Kurdish news, but in a larger way, about the Middle-East policies and news, including world matters that may effect us as Kurds or the entire world in matters such as climate change and the Covid Pandemic

Within our site is a wealth of knowledge on all things Kurdish, our history, our Heroes, our ancient cities (several of which are among the oldest in the world), our culture, art, dance, music, fashion and so much more

The flora and fauna (plant and animal life), many of which are only found within the borders of Kurdistan

The natural beauty of our wonderful country, with it's snow-capped majestic mountains, wonderful rivers and waterfalls, magnificent forests and lush pastures

Our wonderful, caring, compassionate Kurdish people. Always warm and welcoming to friends and strangers alike
