The weather forecast was as bad here

WAS being the operative word

But the Weather Gods had a change of heart and against ALL the weather forecasts, the monsoon died down and the sun came out B-)

I have been watching the radar - a tad wet and windy where you are :shock:

You seem to have our promised monsoon, complete with rain, hail, thunder, lightening and gale force winds :-o

Just as long as you are enjoying yourself and meeting lots of new people :ymhug:

J. K. Rowling, her of Harry Potter fame, started by producing audio books shortly after each book was released and I believe those were a great help

The audio books were word for word exactly the same as the books so that children would be encouraged to read along while listening to the audio books

It helped to get her books noticed and make her famous

The problem with Rowlings is that she swore to never write more than the 7 books of Harry Potter, but she does not seem able to leave definitely the series. So she makes a lot of "à-côtés", but not very convincing and useful. Perhaps it would better for her to stay in the universe she created. as Tolkien did.
