Newroz has shown us that Turkey has no control over the Kurds

Kurds, as a unified group, are much too powerful for Turkey to suppress and control

Although there was some conflict between Kurds and the Turkish state, it was a lot less than was expected. Especially, given the ban on Newroz celebrations imposed by the Turkish state

United and with a common cause, Kurds are an extremely powerful force. They must NOT allow their so-called leaders to give up on their hopes of independence

Throughout history Kurds have been suppressed, tortured and even slaughtered by the various armies that have invaded and occupied traditional Kurdish lands

Sadly most Kurds know very little about Kurdish History and almost nothing about Kurds living under the varies armies of occupation

Until recent years the Kurds living in Syria were the forgotten Kurds. Receiving very little support or even acknowledgement from Kurds in other areas

The great historical writers, such as the brilliant Ismet Cheriff Vanly and the wonderful Dr Jawad Mella, who has been writing about Western Kurdistan long before most of the world even knew there was a Western Kurdistan, are often ignored and unknown

More information about these and other highly respect Kurdish intellectuals and leaders have already been written about in other posts on this forum

I strongly believe that it is the responsibility for every Kurdish parent living under the oppressive Turkish state, to switch off Turkish TV. Learn everything about the horrors inflicted upon Kurds by the vile Turkish state, and the excessive barbarism used by the Turkish armed forces, police and prison services
