YPG innocent of Ankara attack - TAK claim responsibility

PostAuthor: Anthea » Thu Feb 18, 2016 2:12 pm

This is my opinion and it is not necessarily the opinion of the forum management

When I was a child I liked to join the dots in my colouring books

I still like to join the dots :D

Since long before the PKK ever came into being, Turkey has been doing it's hardest to totally wipe out the entire Kurdish population by denying language & culture - attacking - torturing - slaughtering - destroying homes - stealing lands - burning forests & farmland - forced relocations of large populations of Kurds

Kurds are the people who lay their lives on the line to help save the ENTIRE WORLD from Islamic State:

798

Kurds fighting ISIS in Syria are being attacked by Turkey X(

Kurds training in Iraq (south Kurdistan) preparing to fight ISIS are being attacked by Turkey X(

Kurds living peacefully in their traditional home land (part of Turkish occupied Kurdistan) are being attacked in their own homes X(

Thanks to social media - these attacks upon the Kurdish population are no-longer hidden - the international community are now pressuring Turkey to stop attacking Kurds

In order to continue their fight against the Kurds - Turks now need to make themselves appear to be the innocent party

Turkey also needs to take people's minds of the FACT that nobody is allowed to see Ocalan

The art of prestidigitation - misdirection - slight of hand

Re: I think murdering Turks are behind Ankara blast

We collected intelligence all night,” Davutoğlu told reporters in Ankara. “The perpetrators have been fully identified. The attack was carried out by YPG member Salih Necer, who came in from Syria.”

Fourteen people have been held in connection with the attack.

Davutoğlu said Turkish intelligence had established where the militants had crossed into Turkey and how their networks were organised
.

In my opinion - the only way in which Turkey could have identified all those (Turks say) involved - is if they themselves had prior knowledge due to their own involvement

I believe the Kurds have been set up AGAIN

The PKK have a very strong command structure and I do NOT believe they would permit/issue orders for such an attack - especially now that Kurds have been receiving a great deal of international support and Turkey has been receiving a great deal of international condemnation for it's attacks on Kurds

The General Command of YPG (People's Defense Units) has released a statement in response to Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu who blamed the YPG for yesterday's attack in the heart of Turkish capital Ankara which left 28 people dead and 61 others wounded.

YPG General Command said they have no links to the attack, remarking that Davutoğlu put forward this accusation to pave the way for an offensive on Rojava and Syria. The General Command stressed that YPG hasn't engaged in any kind of military activity against the Turkish state so far in spite of all its attacks and provocations.

We hereby publish the full text of the related statement by YPG General Command;

"As is known to our people and the public opinion, Rojava revolution has entered its 4th year. As YPG forces, we are protecting our people in Rojava region from the very first day on. Under challenging conditions, we are protecting our people from barbaric gangs such as ISIS and Al-Nusra. Countless states and media outlets have repeatedly reported about the support Turkey has been providing to these terrorist groups. Apart from the terrorist groups attacking us, we as YPG have engaged in no military activity against the neighboring states or other forces. Despite all its provocations and attacks on Rojava border, we have acted with historic responsibility and never retailated Turkey. During the past 4 years, Rojava is the safest area of Turkey-Syria border, and there has been no military action conducted by our side during this period. This truth is best known to the Turkish military and AKP government. They are deliberately distorting the truths and holding us responsible for the explosion in Ankara.

We would like to reiterate our message to the peoples of Turkey and the world; We have no links to this incident. It is not specific to this case alone, as we have never been involved in an attack against Turkey. The Turkish state cannot possibly prove our engagement in any kind of attack on their side because we were never involved in such an action. Turkish Prime Minister Davutoğlu's remarks "Ankara attack was conducted by YPG" is a lie and far away from the truths. With this statement, Davutoğlu wants to pave the way for an offensive on Syria and Rojava, and to cover up their relations with the ISIS which is known to the whole world by now.

As People's Defense Units-YPG, we state once again that we have no links to the explosion in Ankara, and we call upon all neighboring states and forces to respect the Rojava revolution and will of peoples."

The YPG/PKK have nothing to gain by attacking Ankara at a time when they are receiving international publicity and support

For YPG/PKK to attack Ankara would be akin to 'shooting themselves in the foot'

And would only have caused them to lose the support they have struggled so hard to gain

Dozens of Turkish military vehicles cross into Rojava

Military vehicles of the Turkish army have crossed into Rojava land over the Efrîn border today.

According to a report by ANHA, dozens of Turkish military vehicles have advanced into 200 meters of Rojava land over the Meydan Ekbise village of Efrîn city.

Turkish troops have started to dig a trench in the area between Sorka and Meydan Ekbise villages. Turkish military's construction of a wall in the area also continues.

Does seem somewhat of a coincidence that the Ankara attack has taken place at the same time as Turkey has increased it's military presence in Syria :-?

Erdogan and Turkish army are rivals and the new Sultan wishes to intervene in Syria though Army does not (Turkish army is barbarous but not stupid). So "an attack perpetrated by YPG" (as pretends the PM) against military forces would be a good way to push them in Syria and in any case to allow Turkish strikes against YPG basis, in spite of the skepticism of Coalition.

So Erdogan's team are the main suspect. Or Iran, as a warning to not intervene against Bashar in Syria (and let Putin destroys Aleppo).

It is a complete and utter MESS

(Turkey claimed that the perpetrator of Ankara bombing was a man named Saleh Nejar from Rojava - but the Nejar family/tribe states that there is nobody named Saleh Nejar and that the Turkish State made that identity up)

Would Turkey lie about such a thing?

America are also killing civilians:

U.S.-led strikes in Syria kill 38 civilians in past two days: monitor

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a British-based monitoring group, said on Thursday that at least 38 civilians were killed in air strikes carried out by a U.S.-led coalition in Hasaka province in northeast Syria in the past two days.

The United States and its allies are carrying out air raids in the area against Islamic State, which controls some parts of Hasaka province but has lost ground in recent months.

Hasaka borders mostly Islamic State-held Deir al-Zor province and Raqqa, the group's de facto capital in Syria.

The death toll published by the Observatory, which tracks the war using a network of contacts on the ground, included at least 15 people killed when strikes hit a bakery in the city of al-Shadadi near the border with Iraq on Tuesday.

Air raids in at least three other villages killed 15 others on Thursday, including three children, while eight more civilians died in air strikes elsewhere, it said. Reuters could not independently confirm the reports.

U.S. Lieutenant General Charles Brown, head of U.S. Air Forces Central Command, said he was aware of the report of civilian casualties. The U.S.-led coalition will begin assessing the credibility of those reports and start an investigation if required, he added.

"I do know that we've been striking at that area over the past several days," Brown said.

Separate raids near the town of al Houl, near the Iraqi border, and farther south killed 35 Islamic State fighters, the Observatory said.

The U.S.-led coalition has also been hitting Islamic State areas of control in Iraq.

Washington backs the Syria Democratic Forces in Syria, an alliance of Kurdish YPG fighters and other groups fighting the jihadists on the ground and which took al Houl from Islamic State in November.

The YPG has been the most effective partner against IS in Syria for the U.S.-led coalition, and took swathes of territory from the group last year.

The SDF said on its Facebook page on Thursday that it was launching another offensive, this time to capture al-Shadadi, an IS logistics hub located on a network of highways. Its capture would isolate Raqqa.

Russia is carrying out its own air campaign in Syria, hitting some Islamic State targets, but mostly focusing on insurgents fighting Moscow's ally President Bashar al-Assad in the west of the country.

Re: YPG innocent of Ankara attack - TAK claim responsibility

"This act was conducted to avenge the massacre of defenseless, injured civilians," the group said, in reference to a large-scale Turkish security operation against militants in the town of Cizre. Rights groups have raised serious concerns over the operation in the town, which has been placed under a curfew that prevents journalists and observers from entering.

The Kurdistan Freedom Falcons, also known as TAK, however, named the bomber as Abdulbaki Sonmez.

I find it hard to believe that any Kurdish group could be so stupid as to commit such an horrendous crime - at a time when Kurds are receiving international support and Turkey receiving international condemnation for their attacks on the Kurds.

In this one act of violence TAK has not only removed international support but given Turkey reason to take even more action against PKK supporters.

I find it extremely difficult to believe that the PKK hierarchy would have sanctioned such action.

None of this has been confirmed and I am unsure as to what part Turkey played in this.

Turkey leapt in to say that they had the identity of the bomber - which turned out to be untrue.

Now TAK have named someone completely different.

Whatever the truth of the matter is - one thing is certain

The Kurds are going to suffer
