Turkey: Kurds need independent political party

All the politicising manipulating brain washing and lying has left the majority of Kurds upset and confused
The mass hysteria and brain-washing that took part during the Newroz celebrations was as shocking as it was blatant and should NEVER have been allowed
As always Kurds are being manipulated - only this time the manipulating is not being done by oppressive regimes but so-called Kurdish leaders - and it is absolutely appalling
Educated Kurds who are not involved in the political arena will see the Newroz celebrations for what they have become - the corrupt misuse of a centuries old Kurdish tradition
Unfortunately inside Turkish borders - the silent majority Kurds still have no independent Kurdish party to stand up for their rights - ergo their loyalties remain divided - they have nobody to vote for - confusion will rule the day - many will not even bother to vote - Kurds will lose again
