Does anyone know how much of the State of Aleppo was occupied by Kurds at the time this map was drawn up?

Looking at these 2 maps makes me wonder if Turkey has it's own entirely separate motive for for wanting to bring about the collapse of the Syrian government

Syria to this day still claims the right to Sanjak of Alexandretta (Hatay)
