i. didn.t see any window for this so i posted it here

The brain is one of the largest and most complex organs in the human body.
It is made up of more than 100 billion nerves that communicate in trillions of connections called synapses.

The brain is made up of many specialized areas that work together:
• The cortex is the outermost layer of brain cells. Thinking and voluntary movements begin in the cortex.
• The brain stem is between the spinal cord and the rest of the brain. Basic functions like breathing and sleep are controlled here.
• The basal ganglia are a cluster of structures in the center of the brain. The basal ganglia coordinate messages between multiple other brain areas.
• The cerebellum is at the base and the back of the brain. The cerebellum is responsible for coordination and balance.

The brain is also divided into several lobes:
• The frontal lobes are responsible for problem solving and judgment and motor function.
• The parietal lobes manage sensation, handwriting, and body position.
• The temporal lobes are involved with memory and hearing.
• The occipital lobes contain the brain's visual processing system.

The brain is surrounded by a layer of tissue called the meninges. The skull (cranium) helps protect the brain from injury.

how do you think the brain will develop if let's say 10 million years.
Do you think the brain will focus more on developing certain areas of the brain while the other remains as it is, if it is so which areas do you think will evolve.

Does anyone know if we will get another human race later, we were still the only human race in about 100 million years?

In a thousand years we will be probably extinct. Most probably due to climate changes.

If you are interested in biology and human beings (like I am), this is a very nice video.

This is a video about human cells. Human cells aren't the most complicated organisms in the. Though this system is still very interesting. Human cells play a decisive role in shaping a fetus when it is unborn and it has a lot of mechanisms to prevent one from becoming ill.

For example, cells multiply themselves. However, when one cell multiplies itself in a faulty way, it will become a mutated cell. If this cell isn't stopped, it means that you will get a tumor and eventually get cancer. Though, it is very normal that a mutation happens to a cell. In that case, the cell will be located and prevented from spreading.
Sometimes though, it happens that the cell can not be located and thus has a free hand in multiplying itself and therefore becoming a tumor. This is when a mechanism called "apoptosis" kicks in. This will basically lead to a change in cell characteristics and death.

Besides this there are many more interesting mechanisms of cells.
