i dont know, but even if yes - parrot has the right to love whoever wants and to wish this person long live. but as i see its not easy to be talking parrots in turkya.
when i will buy my house, i am going to have one dog - swiss shepard dog and untill that time i hope to speak kurdish better, so i will talk to this dog in kurdish, so he will understand only me and my brothers and sisters from Kurdistan - thanks to god - nobody will take us to court for that in Poland (i hope so ). and i am looking for nice short kurdish name for my dog.

The reason asked is that a video was posted here a few years ago of a parrot speaking in Kurmancî. The parrot said Bijî Apo û bijî etc... I'll search for it...

Anyway, that's a cool dog! Don't know many kurdish names, but maybe:
Aza:Brave
Bahoz:Storm
Aso:Horizon

chony Kak Baris

to be honest i mean name, which is specially for dog, not the one who are for people - coz maybe one day any of my kurdish friends will visite me and i dont want to be ambarrased to call my dog with the same name as the name of any of my friends.
by the way - Aza in poland is the name that people put on dog, but its female name.

as i heard its the one who WAS sentenced to death by turks. i dont know details about this story, but as i know they took to the court this great Kurd - the owner and the bird. and now - when i was watching this video again - i made decision to have one bird - i dont know how its called in english (latini name is gracula religiosa) - this bird is one of the most clever for talking human language, more than any parrots. its not legal to keep it at home (im poland), but i will have one and i will teach him some useful things in kurdish. this bird is also famous for that he can copy someones voice and other sounds, like working car engine etc. this one example of that bird:
