If the girls are over 18, they even can decide to marry a 100 years old man.

So you think buying/marrying Girls in the age of your grandchild is something normal which should be seen as "free decision"? These old backward man are just using the poor situation the Girls are in. Where is the difference to German man going to Thailand to have sex with young Girls or rich Arab man (which you hate) buying girls from poorer families. We are not living in middle ages anymore.

Perhaps you are not aware of it , but there is a big shortage of men and massive poverty due to war . for an arab girl whether divorced/widow or single in her 30s the chances of getting married to some one close to her age is almost impossible . Being married to an older man is much more honourable (based on their culture ) than not being married at all . The purpose of mariage is not always related to sex , some times men marry women at certain age to give them a home and protection .

Ok I would think so if it was local woman, but heval Talsor some foreign woman which they have never seen in their life? Seriously? I dont think they are marrying them in "protecting purpose".

im also against this bcoz the kid will never turn out to be a patriotic Kurd, look at sinjar for eg, yes is not not like jeleel lost guy on iraqiforum but is still is not 100% like us, btw he is not even half arab as he claims, he himself is fully Kurdish with his family mixed with arabs, how do i know this? he told me once in msn messenger.

I just don't like that so many kids will end up with only half kurdish blood.

While in Montreal few weeks ago we visited " supposedly " a Kurdish family . The guy is a Kurd from Hewler , but married to a turkman women . To my surprise everyone was speaking turkmani at home and while going to the bathroom I saw a big Iraqi flag in their son's bedroom . Frankly I saw nothing Kurdish from their children and never felt that I'm in a Kurdish home .

If you want children that are not kurds then by all means marry an arab or turkman or persian because no matter what you do the mother will always have the bigger influence .

Only "bê xiret" will allow that to happen and frankly I do not blame the mother , but the father for not having balls . After seeing the Iraqi flag in their house I left and told them openly that I can not having dinner in a house that has saddam's flag .

I dont think there is anything wrong in marrying someone out of our own as long as the two people dont hurt others and stay in the folds of islam, the world has changed and even if we try to stay in our own communities, it will not always be possible. No offence to anyone.
