Does that mean a trigram is 3 lines?

If so what did the last 3 lines mean?

They were a copy of the first 3 lines

When I read cards I feel drawn to certain cards and they are not always the ones I drew out of the pack, must be the witch in me

yeah a hexagram is the 6 lines. Each hexagram is then made if 2 trigrams, then a combination of 2 elements or one double element (like 58).

For example the 4th (the Madness of Youth) is made with Mountain (immobilization) on Water (deep, bottomless).
