You will have to be careful because often mother cats move their babies around and hide them to keep them safe

You might find babies in your bed :ymdevil:

She tried to go in my bed when the birth started. But then I showed her the box I prepared and she stayed inside.

I precise it is a HUGE box, which contented my fridge, with 120 cm long. So I placed on the side, between the desk and the wall, and it is like a tunnel with, at its end, the cradle : a genuine Hobbit's terrier :D

Your little furry friends will enjoy living with you because you look after them so well :ymhug:

Just think in 6 months from now :D

Mother cat could have more kittens and if any of the babies are female

Each adult female could produce 2 litters of cats a year

I can do my maths =))

I was listening a radio program about Jane Austen. At a moment, one said that Churchill, during the war, when he fall ill, read Jane Austen again, and said it has helped him in a such dark time. I agree, Jane Austen is a wonderful remedy against melancholy.

I don't know why, by each summer, I am in the mood to read her or to see the series again :-D but nothing to do with melancholy.

A 2nd kitten died, this evening, the single male and the most beautiful ( a tabby). The 1st week is always critical.

2 remain, 2 females, white and tabby (one very very weirdo, painted as a Joan Miro). They are bigger and try to walk (like drunken grannies).

In France, when they marry, all women have to make a test of toxoplasma as other infection diseases who can be dangerous if they're pregnant. The advantage of having a cat is that you are immune against it (that was my case :D )
