I know myself this elham azizi organization.She who own it is from rojhalat kurdistan and told me how hard it was to find girls that would like to compete in international beauty pageants. We have many stunners she said but many of their parents refused their girls to compete. Since one of the rounds in beauty pageant requires to wear bikini.

It should be up to the girls themselves what they do

It is not as though the girls will be running along the roads half naked

Some of the girls might even find that the beauty pageants lead to other opportunities in the modelling - film - music industry or some-such related industry

Hi dear,

Elhamaziziorganization have sent a girl to miss Grand International. See their fb page
However for making it clear the swimsuit part is just a small part of the competition,nothing big. The girls main porpuse is to show her countries culture,history and beauty. The girl have competed with kurdish clothes,evening gown and simwsuit just like in any normal pagenat.

To me it seems like an excellent opportunity to share something Kurdish

Kurds need to be more proactive in all walks of life especially now Kurds are in the news
